Micaspor 100mg (micafungin sodium) injection is an antifungal medication used to treat severe, systemic fungal infections, particularly in patients with compromised immune systems. It belongs to a class of drugs called echinocandins and works by killing the fungi that cause the infection. 

Primary Uses

Micaspor 100mg is primarily indicated for the treatment and prevention of the following conditions: 

Invasive Candidiasis/Candidemia: Severe infections in the blood or body caused by various species of Candida yeast.

Esophageal Candidiasis: Fungal infection of the esophagus (food pipe) caused by Candida.

Prophylaxis of Candida infections: Used to prevent fungal infections in high-risk patients, such as those undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (bone marrow transplants) who may have a low white blood cell count (neutropenia).

Invasive Aspergillosis: Treatment of certain serious infections caused by the Aspergillus species of fungi.

Empirical Antifungal Therapy: Used in cases where a fungal infection is strongly suspected in a high-risk patient (e.g., those with neutropenic fever) but the specific causative agent has not yet been identified. 

Important Considerations

Administration: Micaspor 100mg is an injection administered intravenously (into a vein) by a healthcare professional in a clinic or hospital setting. It is not 

Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's belongs to the class of medicines called 'bisphosphonates' used to treat osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones) caused by menopause or long-term steroid use. Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's also treats Paget's bone and high calcium levels caused by cancer. Osteoporosis is a bone disease that weakens and thins bones by decreasing bone density, common in post-menopausal women.  As the density of bones decreases, they weaken and are more likely to break. 

Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's contains Zoledronic acid that works by binding to the bone tightly and preventing the removal of calcium by osteoclasts (a type of bone cell that destroys bone tissue). This prevents osteoclasts from breaking down the bone and keeps the bones strong and minimizes the risk of bones breaking.

A doctor or nurse will administer Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's. In some cases, you may experience headache, fever, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, back pain, diarrhea, pain in the muscles, joints, or bones, swelling, or pain at the infusion site. Most of these side effects of Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid taking Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and consult a doctor. Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's is not recommended for children below 18 years as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Avoid taking Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's if you have hypocalcemia (low calcium levels in the blood) and severe kidney problems. Drive only if you are alert as Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's may cause dizziness. Zolistra 4mg Injection 1's may cause osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) in some patients. Therefore, if you experience any problems with teeth or mouth such as loose teeth, swelling or pain, non-healing of sores, or discharge, consult your doctor and dentist as these might be signs of osteonecrosis of the jaw.

 

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION Aromita Tablet is used alone or with other treatments, such as surgery or radiation, to treat early breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It can also be used as the first line treatment of advanced breast cancer that has spread within the breast or to other areas of the body.

Aromita Tablet belong to a class of drug called aromatase inhibitors, which decreases the amount of estrogen in the body. It should be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.

The most common side effects of the medicine include hot flushes, nausea, rashes, joint pain, osteoporosis, and weakness. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you are not gone through menopause and still having menstrual periods, or you have a problem with the liver or kidney. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. You should use Progivian 8% Vaginal gel as your doctor has advised. Do not use more or less than you have been advised and do not use it for longer than recommended. You may be asked to continue taking this medicine for a period after it is confirmed that you are pregnant.

The most common side effects include headache, feeling very tired, stomach cramps, pain or swelling in your abdomen and feeling sick. You may also feel bloated, less interested in sex and get pain or discharge in your vagina. Your doctor or nurse may be able to help you reduce or prevent side effects if they bother you or do not go away. Very occasionally people get a severe allergic reaction which needs urgent medical attention. Using this medicine may increase your risk of blood clots or breast cancer.

Progivian 8% Vaginal gel may not suit everybody, and you should tell your doctor if you have, or have had, breast cancer, unusual bleeding in the vagina or liver disease. You may be monitored more carefully if you have liver, kidney or heart problems or have diabetes or asthma. Let your doctor know your medical history to be safe. Check with your doctor about all other medicines which may affect, or be affected by, this medicine. You will probably have several tests both before and during treatment to check your womb. This medicine can alter your thinking or reactions and you may feel very tired so be careful if you drive or need to be alert. In general, alcohol is not recommended while taking this medicine.
